E-waste is recognized as a major challenge in the waste management policies of the Government of India, Considering the need for a specific e-waste regulation, GIBS Social Foundation Trust volunteers conducted sound management of E-waste awareness program at GFGC Vijaynagar Degree College on February 06, 2016, introduced the issue of E-waste and guided how students can get involved to solve these raising issues of e-waste so that they can establish e-waste collection mechanisms in their schools and nearby area.
